Everest Poker Review
Everest Poker is a worldly online poker room,
that has players from all over the world. Except for the US, of course, due to
the new regulations passed by their government. Everest Poker's software
is available in 16 different languages, and there are even country and region
specific tournaments available. All this means that Everest Poker has a
huge potential player base because they market out to non-English speaking
people. The languages supported include French, Japanese, German, Italian,
Portuguese, Norwegian, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Spanish, and of course, English.
Everest Poker uses a pretty high quality piece of software, which runs fairly
smoothly and seamlessly. There are only two games available right now
(Texas Hold 'em and Omaha), but there are plans to implement Seven Card Stud
later, which would definitely put Everest Poker into the top tier of online
poker websites, and solidify their standing and reputation in online
poker. The software also has a very nice looking layout, with a pretty
sweet half 3D feel. The only real drawback is that the cards might be
hard to see sometimes, but they seem to have increased the card size, which has
made it easier to play.
Since the loss of US players to the international online poker scene, most
online poker sites have lost a lot of business, but not Everest, it
seems. It appears that Everest Poker has profited even more from losing
the US players, as they have branched out into a completely global market, and
have started reeling in new players from all corners of the globe to
play. Everest Poker has also just added a great new feature. They
finally added high stakes games. Now, players can enjoy playing a $50
blind Texas Hold 'em game.
With an average of 7,000 ring-game players at peak hours, and an average of
16,000 tournament players at peak hours, there will always be a game for you to
play. In off peak times, you'll probably be playing in the micro limits
games. At on peak times, however, you'll get a chance to play with a tone
of horrible players in full no limit $1/2 and $2/4 games. These games can
get you a ton of quick and easy money, as half of the players seem to not have
a clue as to what the heck they are doing.
Overall, Everest Poker has great, smooth running software with a ton of Texas Hold 'em
action. The worldly atmosphere is definitely a draw, as well, because who
doesn't enjoy playing people from the other side of the world in some friendly
competition? Because of the worldly atmosphere, there is a high variety
in types of players, which makes for very loose and even wild games.
These types of games are mostly present at the medium and high stakes,
however. These games can be very profitable for players with solid poker
skills, though. If you like these kinds of games, and this kind of
competition, and aren't from the USA, then Everest Poker
certainly is for you.
